Inferno
this was the brand name of a series of firefighting automata produced by the Corporate Sector Authority. These boxy droids were equipped with repulsorlift engines for mobility, and were given a wealth of firefighting equipment. They were well-armored, and could attack a fire at its source without being burned or damaged. The Inferno droid was developed to work autonomously or in groups, and was configured so that individual droids could snap together, forming a larger firefighting unit. In this way, the Inferno could have sprayers pointing in two directions at once, providing better coverage. As part of the Inferno system, a host droid was also produced, which hovered at a safe distance and could refill the flame-retardant chemicals of individual Inferno units.
