Indu San
this Outer Rim world is the primary planet in the Indu San System. Although it holds a remote location in the galaxy, Indu San was an active member of the Old Republic. When the Empire assumed control of the galaxy, the first governor allowed the old government to smoothly transition to the New Order, and the planet was a model of Imperial life. However, the subsequent governor instituted a harsher regimen, and the populace rebelled. The rebellion continued until after the Battle of Endor, when the New Republic sent a force to assist the populace. The governor requested aid from the Empire, but the fragmented Imperial forces couldn't help. He was deposed, and the old government was re-instated. The president of the planet's Congressional Council waffled on whether or not to support the New Republic, and was quickly assassinated. The average day on Indu San lasts 25 standard hours, and its year lasts 382 local days.
