Imperial Hall of Heroes
this monument to the Imperial soldiers and pilots who gave their lives during the early years of the New Order was erected in Imperial City with the use of Wookiee slave labor. It was during construction of a new wing that Commander Nyklas requested an assistant. The assistance turned out to be Han Solo, fresh from his graduation from the Academy on Carida. When Han saw what Nyklas was doing to the Wookiees, he suddenly remembered the promise he had made to Dewlanna as she died. Han had been chafing at the Empire's pro-Human stance, and the mistreatment of th Wookiee's was too much. Han freed and rescued Chewbacca from the slave party, and earned a dishonorable discharge for it.
