this Jawa was known for his skills at acquiring and repairing droids for later resale. Iasa was a trusted confederate of Kalit, until the Jawa leader entrusted Iasa with his credits, his mate, and a sandcrawler. Iasa never explained what happened, but when he returned to the tribe he had none of these items. He was exiled from the clan, and spent his remaining time abusing the residents of Mos Eisley. He thought about stealing Luke Skywalker's landspeeder, while the youth was in the cantina with Ben Kenobi, looking for passage to Alderaan.
