this striking woman was Strephan I'att's wife. She and Strephan took in their granddaughter, Tinian, after her parents' deaths, and raised her until adulthood. Just before she and Strephan were killed by Moff Keioth, Augusta contracted a rare degenerative disease that slowly eroded her body. Treatment was expensive, but Strephan spared no expense.
