this surface-based, planetary defense turbolaser battery was produced by Golan Arms. Known as a Hex battery, this six-barreled unit coulod fire in a variety of patterns to cover a larger area. It required a crew of ten to operate, and needed an immense power generator to maintain its fire. Unlike ion cannons which simply disabled a craft, the HX.6 could simply destroy them.
