Hutt Counselor
this position was usually given to a non-Hutt, and refers to an individual who has been appointed to conduct business on behalf of a Hutt ruler or his clan. Each counselor must be well-versed in the complexities of Hutt politics and business. Therefore, a counsleor almost always remains with a single family, rather than try to learn about multiple groups. The counselor must also be unswervingly loyal to the Hutt clan it serves, or risk a quick death. The position of Hutt counselor was created in the wake of the violence which erupted between kajidics during the Old Republic, in an effort to maintain the Hutt society instead of wiping it out.
