Humbaba
this bovine creature was native to several forested planets, including Corellia and Kashoon. It was often used in the expletive reference, "knee-deep in humbaba manure." The average specimen measured two meters in height at the shoulder, and was covered with dense fur. Ancient Kashoonara legends speak of humbaba which measured "six Kahsoonara high" at the shoulder. These beasts were natural burrowers, living in the softer swamplands at the edge of the forest. There are four known species of humbaba, distinguishable by their unusual, prehensile noses. Despite their size and their burrowing nature, humbabas were extremely fast on their feet, making them excellent mounts for the Kashoonara. During the liberation of Kashoon from the Empire, Alliance forces also rode humbabas into battle. The Kashoonara revere the humbaba, and forbade the hunting of these creatures.
