this settlement was formed on the planet Ennth. When the planet's moon orbited close to Ennth during its eight-year cycle, the seismic and tidal activity it spawned destroyed Hopetown. The colonists returned to Ennth after the devastation, and rebuilt it. They also renamed it New Hopetown.
