an Imperial Grand Moff serving the Empire after the death of Emperor Palpatine, Hissa was one of Trioculus' most trusted officers. Hissa was distinguished by his spear-pointed teeth, which pointed to his alien origins. As part of the Central Committee of Grand Moffs' plan to keep Triclops a secret and find a way to rule the galaxy following Palpatine's death, Hissa cultivated a friendship with Trioculus, knowing that the three-eyed mutant could be passed off as the true son of Palpatine. Hissa, the Imperial Governor of the Kessel System for many years, was severely disfigured on Duro, when the hazardous wastes from Imperial dumping grounds flooded the Valley of Royalty. He fell into the wastes, which ate away most of his body. His arms were then replaced with the arms of an assassin droid, and his torso was encased on a repulsorlift floating chair. When the Prophets of the Dark Side sentenced him for treachery against the Empire, he was to be starved aboard Scardia until he was very near death. Then, his final meal would be given to him: a meal of biscuits laden with parasites that would consume him from the inside out. He never got that far, for Kadann, suspicious that Triclops' information on the Lost City of the Jedi was false, sent Hissa to investigate. Hissa was then incinerated in the molten lava core of Yavin 4, at the end of the false entrance to the City.
