Harravan
a Hapan privateer who killed Isolder's older brother. Isolder hunted the man down and captured him, but chose to make an example out of him rather than murder him. Unfortunately for Isolder, Harravan was killed in prison before he could stand trial and reveal the names of his accomplices. It was assumed that the Queen Mother, Ta'a Chume, had employed the pirates to assassinate her son, whom she felt was too weak to become a ruler of Hapes.
