G8-R3
this astromech droid was one of several that served aboard the Naboo Royal Starship during the tenure of Queen Amidala. G8-R3 was one of four droids dispatched during the Queen's escape from the Trade Federation blockade of Naboo, but was also one of the first to be destroyed by Federation turbolasers. An unusual astromech, G8-R3 had the head of an R5 unit and the body of a standard R2 unit.
