Akarias, Piret
this Alliance pilot was the owner of the YT-1300 transport ship known as the Meandering Star. It was Piret who was assigned to bring a group of Alliance agents to investigate the loss of contact with the safeworld Stronghold. He escaped the initial attack of the Charon and their warship, the Desolate, fleeing the Charon bioscientists and making his way to his ship. However, the sight of his friends being experimented on by Charon scientists drove him mad, and he was irrational when the Alliance agents discovered him.
