this was the name of a shape-shifting race of elf-like creatures that inhabited the volcanic caves of the forest moon of Endor. Nearly every Gupin had a pair of tiny wings, with which it could move about in case of emergency. These wings were grown after the Guniepal Chest was opened, as part of the Renewal Ceremony.
