Grissmath
natives of the planet Meridian, the Grissmaths were a vicious society that disposed of it political enemies by depositing them on the planet Nam Chorios. Some 750 years before the Battle of Yavin, the Grissmath left the prisoners on the barren world, and later seeded the planet with drochs in order to kill them off. The Grissmath society eventually destroyed itself, reducing Meridian to a radioactive wasteland, while the prisoners on Nam Chorios managed to eke out an existence. The destruction of the Grissmath Dynasty was later attributed to the Death Seed plague, victims of their own devious ways.
