this Imperial Admiral served as the commander of the Desolator, and was in command of the Imperial Naval base at Miser. As an individual, Grendeef obtained more personal pleasure from his work than professional pride. He was planning to use his command of the Desolator to perform some desparate action to prove he still belonged in command. However, when the crew of the Wanderer tried to reach Miser and present the location of Isis to him, Alliance operatives were able to reprogram the hyperdrive on the Desolator. The Star Destroyer was later listed having been destroyed when it rammed into rogue star G-138. Grendeef, and all aboard, were killed in the accident.
