Great Lock
located near the base of the Great Pyramid on Rafa V, the Great Lock accepted the Key of the Overpeople, allowing the Bearer to "enter without entering" the pyramid. Rather than inserting the Key straight into a slot in the Great Lock, the Key was placed into what appeared to be a molded impression. However, the impression was visually hard to interpret, since it seemed at once to be on the surface of the Great Lock and buried insert it. When the Key was placed into the Lock, it seemed to be neither inside the impression not extending from it, yet it did not appear to level with its surface. When the Key was properly placed, The Bearer and the Emissary found that they could walk through the walls of the pyramid, thus "entering without entering."
