this man was a member of the Alliance, sent to the planet Delantine to bolster support for the rebels. When the Empire took control of the system, Granit led the evacuation of Alliance supporters. He was also responsible for the rescue of Stuart Zissu, R2-D2, C-3PO, and 4B-X from the planet Da'nor, where they had crashed while en route to Delantine.
