Grand Reception Hall
the kilometer-long location in Imperial City where dignitaries from across the galaxy have been received by the galaxy's rulers, the Grand Reception Hall was located near the Petrax District on the planet Coruscant. At the time of Coruscant's capture by the Yuuzhan Vong, the Grand Reception Hall was the oldest continually-operating governmental building on the planet. It was nestled among several tall skyscrapers, so very little natural light reached the building's open-air ceiling. Access to the Hall required that aircars descend between the skyscrapers, dropping through "the well" in order to reach the Hall.
