Graiveh
native to the planet Ealor, this species of tall, furred humanoids was on the cusp of gaining true sentience for several millennia. They lived in groups of 30 to 40 individuals, and were hunters by nature. Their "society" was based on survival of the fittest, with the strongest hunters being allowed to continue the species. They exhibited several traits which indicated they worked for the betterment of their species, including the protection of the young and the females during battle. Graiveh mate for life, and families remained intact for several generations. However, graiveh seemed to understand that genetic diversity would help ensure their survival, so offspring were often exchanged among families in different groups to expand the gene pool.
