The latest entry in the on-going "Protos and Premiums" series on Starwars.com has Gus taking a look back at the Star Wars Electronic Laser Battle Game from Kenner.
See the intro below:
"Star Wars Electronic Laser Battle was one of the first electronic games based on the battles in A New Hope. This image shows an early prototype that is typical for electronic game prototypes since the circuitry and power supply are contained in a separate unit attached by wiring. Since the hand-made electronic prototypes are designed to demonstrate the game features, miniaturing the circuitry and containing it in the main unit is not the primary objective, although it's something that gets addressed later in the production process."

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
