Jeremy writes in from Tataouine Tours with a new Epsiode II tidbit:

I've just had word from a fan who only came back from Tunisia a couple of days ago that there is a Tunisian Episode 2 location that has gone unmentioned.

Apparently Ksar Ouled Soltane, 30 km south of Tataouine, was visited by LFL during the September shooting schedule. A well respected local guide from Tozeur informed my contact that it was all decked out in decorations for the filming.

I consider this unconfirmed as I have yet to talk to anyone who has actually been there and seen the reported set dressings since September 2000.
