How Did Harrison Ford Get His Scar?

An article in today's Orange County Register answers that question. Entitled 10 weirdest Orange County Claims to Fame, one of the entries is Harrison Ford's explanation for how he got the scar on his chin.

From the article...

In 1989, Harrison Ford described how he got his trademark chin scar to Women's Wear Daily: "I was working as a buyer in knickknacks and oil paintings for Bullock's department store in Santa Ana, and I was on my way to work and crashed my car into a telephone pole."

The accident happened on Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach (Orange County).
