Darth Inconsiderate alerts us to an article with Hayden Christensen and what the future holds for him. From The Oregonian:
You never can tell how a young person will handle the white heat of global fame -- the intense, instant glory that only athletes, pop stars and actors in hit movies and TV shows experience.
Hayden Christensen seems, at least right now, clear-headed, if a little dazed. You would understand if it were otherwise. The 21-year-old actor was unknown two years ago when he was cast in the lead role of "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones." Now that the film is a megahit, Christensen will never be anonymous again.
Sitting on a shady porch on "Star Wars" creator George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch a week before opening day, the fine-featured Christensen is serious, interested, warm, open -- not necessarily what you'd expect from a young man who's come from nowhere to be the center of one of the biggest films since, well, since the last "Star Wars."
He knows what's coming: "In a 'Star Wars' film, you're performing on a major platform, and you get a lot of attention -- sometimes more than you like. But that's secondary to the work."
