Neil sends us a few pictures from the Toronto charity screening that took place earlier this evening:
Just wanted to share a few of the pics from the charity screening of ATOC here in Toronto. Thanks to George Lucas for making me feel like the 8 year old kid again like I was when Return Of The Jedi opened. Hayden Christensen was the special guest of honor and did his best not to detract from the movie?s premier. Tickets went for $250.00 CDN and upwards but it was well worth it and nice to see so many Star Wars Fans assist Child Find Ontario.
Canadian radio station 680 News report on their website:
TORONTO (CP) - Star Wars fanatics opened their wallets to charity Sunday to be among the first in the world to see the latest Star Wars instalment and catch a glimpse of the film's young Canadian star, Hayden Christensen.
Hundreds of fans paid between $250 and $500 per ticket to take in the show a few days before its official release, and mingle amongst Christensen and some costumed characters from the movie, including a brigade of stormtroopers - adorned with Canada-flag armbands - and, of course, an actor dressed as Darth Vader.
Christensen, 21, walked down the red carpet with his parents in tow, and said he was happy to support the charitable event for Child Find Ontario, and to return home to be with family on Mother's Day - even though it did mean facing yet another media frenzy.

Update: TK878 (aka SLam) sends us some great footage of the event from Canadian TV:
I managed to get some video captures done of the news reports of the Toronto Episode 2 Charity screening held today (Sunday). The 501st Canadian Garrison, Young Jedi Niagara, and Kropserkle were there to entertain the crowds and greet Hayden Christiansian when he arrived at the theater.
