Empire Online continues its AOTC interviews with Joel Edgerton who plays Owen Lars. Here's an excerpt:

So is Owen a bitter, twisted young man?

I like to think that people become gruff by way of experience and so when were seeing him again I gather he's 24 or 25 years old, He's just kinda na?ve with none of the knowledge or experience he will have by Episode IV. By Episode IV we get him post clone wars, looking after Luke, refusing Luke right of passage to go and fight. So I like to think that before the experience he's a very different person. Not impressionable but na?ve. And with all that experience yet to come. So I didn't want to approach him like a bitter, twisted young man, I'll wait for that to happen to him.
