Rick McCallum is screening all week an amazing technical reel of Episode II. Eight minutes of the film, all digitally projected on a certified DLP digital projector. I (Josh) have to say one thing, it is absolutely amazing. The colors are billiant and so clear. The footage was full of spoilers, which I'll talk about shortly in another post.

There is most definitely a significant jump between the visuals of the current theater and the next generation technology. Rick said that there will be only 90 theaters in the country showing the film this way, and that it was a shame. I agree, though the sound wasn't set up properly for the screening, so while adequate, it felt out of place considering the amazing things we were seeing on screen.
