We reported on this in August 2000, without any other solid background info. Now almost two years later, Bilbo Fett reminds us of this on the eve of Episode II:
The magazine called The World of Star Wars: a Compendium of Fact and Fantasy from Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back has (copyright 1981) has an interesting article about stormtroopers as clones. I don't know how common this knowledge is, but I thought it might be interesting and timely especially if you never happened to see this before...
