AOTC Week in UK Newspaper

Posted By Britany on May 8, 2002

Britain's biggest newspaper, The Sun, has been running special AOTC interviews and features all week.

On Monday they featured an interview with Hayden Christensen. Here's a quote from Hayden:

"Working with Lucas was absolutely incredible, the best summer of my life. When Episode 1 came out, my entire high school went to the first showing. It was a big event and to be a part of that now is very special. I loved working with Ewan McGregor. He was always able to lighten up a situation. He?s such a strong actor so it?s inspiring to work with him. He really brings up the level of everyone else and makes it a very enjoyable experience."

On Tuesday it was the turn of costar Natalie Portman. Here's a quote from her interview:

"We filmed Episode II more than two years ago. But the wait was worth it as the computer effects are amazing, really wonderful. This one was shot digitally and 90 per cent is blue screen. That means almost all the film, except the actors, is computer animation. I love my character. Playing her is so exciting. George gives you no restrictions, no boundaries. He lets you go and as she?s not from Earth, that takes it to another level."

Today, they look at some of the "heroes, villains and monsters", which you can check out by clicking here. Those avoiding spoilers should avoid today's feature. Thanks to everyone who sent in alerts.
