Now, with 'Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones' just mere days away, GEORGE LUCAS has acknowledged publicly that 'Phantom Menace' might have been a narrative disappointment, and promises a number of improvements in the next chapter: less kids, less Jar Jar, more action -- and more romance. Tonight on ET, we've got a first look at the interstellar dating rituals from the new 'Star Wars' saga!
"[In] the earlier films, Episodes IV, V and VI, there is a little kind of flirtation, but it's never really carried very far," Lucas admits. "Obviously Han Solo and Leia fall in love with each other, but that isn't the core of the story and it takes place over three movies. This one's a much more condensed love story - there's still a lot of action and war -- sort of a love story set against the background of war."
