Mike Smith sends us the following report from the Chicago Tribune about yesterday's press screening in the Windy City:
Before the morning screening for invited media and guests, Heather Ast of Chicago was one of those in line. She said she expected the movie to have lots of action and hoped the series would regain the form of the original "Star Wars" trilogy. After she and two others were invited to the screening using the guest slots given to the Tribune by the local publicist, Ast weighed in with a mixed review.
"I need to see it again," said Ast, an attorney for the state of Illinois and treasurer of Chicago Force, a local "Star Wars" fan group. "Some of the acting ... some of the dialogue was not so good. But it's definitely better than "The Phantom Menace.'"
