I didn't see this news item posted, so I thought I met send it in. Star Wars is estimated to have made about 24.6 million yesterday (Friday). It made a little over twice as much as Spiderman. I think at this rate it is going to make about 95 million by the end of the weekend (IMO). Here is the link
A 6 million drop off between Thursday and Friday is somewhat of a disappointment considering Friday was the 2nd day of AOTC's release and is also a bigger movie day for theaters. Let's hope AOTC picks up momentum on Saturday and Sunday.
