Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi dish out Jedi justice on a lawless planet in a new Star Wars miniseries

Like two sheriffs who've come to town to put things straight, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi decide to do what's right on a desolate planet with a dark secret in the exciting new miniseries Star Wars:Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan - Last Stand On Ord Mantell .

While on Coruscant, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi find themselves being sent on an unexpected rescue mission to locate a missing ship. The Jedi locate the ship, but find that its crew has suffered what appears to be a horrible death. While on board they are attacked by the culprit, a Mantellian savrip, a huge beast with a nasty temper. But why is this beast, and another caged one, on this ship, and why would the crew risk their lives transporting them? The Jedi determine that the beasts must have come from nearby Ord Mantell and set out to find some answers. On a planet like Ord Mantell, shifty characters with hidden agendas rule the land, and when the Jedi arrive they are treated to a rather unpleasant welcome. But soon Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi show the local gangsters that Jedi are not to be underestimated!

"When Dark Horse Star Wars editor Dave Land offered me the assignment to write a three-issue series about Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, you could have knocked me over with a feather," remarked series writer Ryder Windham. Star Wars:Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan - Last Stand On Ord Mantell is a three-issue miniseries featuring the dynamic storytelling of Ryder Windham and the dazzling artwork of Ramon Bachs. Issue #1 will be in stores December 20 with a retail price of $2.99.
