The walker commences firing on the generator, but obviously none of these initial blasts is sufficient to destroy the generator completely. The generator is a massive and durable piece of machinery, and it will take a while for Blizzard 1 to finish it off. The southern extremity of the low western hills is now hard to distinguish, off the right side of the picture or lost in the saturated glare of foreground snow.
