Our buddy Jo?o ("Darth En Ghedi") sent over the following:
"We are proud to announce the release of our Fanzine Undercity Issue Number 1.
This fanzine has finally met our desire to develop a magazine that could be both appealing and interesting to read. This issue we present to the world what the Portuguese fandom is all about, some highlights of our interview with Dark Horse Comics Editor, Randy Stradley, some reviews, the second part of our fan fiction and more.
We really wanted to revamp our previous Issue #0 to meet the modern design standards. Still, we know there's a lot more we can do with this fine medium and we are looking forward for the future numbers of our fanzine to expand and improve.
Important Note: Due to its size, this magazine is only available through solicitation. You can perform a very simple submission through a simple form, inputting an email box with capacity for more than 10 Mb and we will send it to you.
All you need to do is fill in a very simple form available in the link below.
Issue #2 is due sometime next month. We don't plan release dates, the fanzines will be published (all 12) according to our own availability to build them as this project is non-profitable and build exclusively by fans for fans.
Meanwhile, as you may notice, our blog is now called Undercity! This meets our strategy of building a new online news community for Star Wars Fans. So far we have the Blog and the Fanzine. But we are expanding our work to add a full working website and a forum, aside several events we are planning to promote Star Wars in Portugal.
"Fan Force Portugal is now Undercity! We inherited FFPT experience with the fandom and lauched a project to unite Portuguese fans in one single community.
We welcome you to our new home. Our blog has been renewed as well as our image. We are continuing the production of our English Written Undercity Fanzine Issue #2 and we are also planning more and more features for both the Portuguese and International fans. Stay Tuned.
AS THE FIRST OFFICIAL FEATURE, WE PRESENT YOU OUR EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH DARK HORSE COMIC WRITER, MR. JOHN JACKSON MILLER!
A Writer, he is well know in the Star Wars community for his work in the comic series Knights of the Old Republic, published by Dark Horse Comics.
Miller also has the privilege of working in the production of the famous story-arc in the Dark Horse Comics, "Star Wars: Vector" right next to our friend John Ostrander!
From the creative process to the future of his work in Star Wars especially of "KotOR" and "Vector", there's even room to a small curiosity we found on Wookieepedia.
Yet another privilege for Undercity, in another happy interview.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
