Airfix Star Wars KitPedia Launches Posted By Dustin on May 1, 2010
Milos J writes in with terrific news for vintage model buffs. He's created an online archive for model fans and wrapped it all up in one nice easy to use website. Here's a few words from the man himself.
"For the past 3 months I have been working on the first online encyclopedia devoted to vintage Airfix Star Wars model kits and related promotional materials, and now the site is finally online. Official name of the site is "Airfix Star Wars KitPedia", and the address is http://www.kitpedia.com
The site also covers many variants of those kits which were made by other companies (MPC, Kenner, Takara, Parker Brothers, AMT/ERTL, etc), and also some Non-Airfix Star Wars kits from 70s and 80s. I will continue to develop and enhance this site, with the help of all interested modelers and collectors."
So if you're into Star Wars models, be sure to stop by and check it out and see if there is anything you can do to help contribute to the site!
