Many members of the mailing list have been receiving multiple copies of our first newsletter. (I myself got around 16, and it is extremely annoying.) We're working to figure out what the heck the problem is and kill it. We apologize for this and will have it fixed within a few hours.

UPDATE!!! - We now know what the problem is. UNIX Sendmail apparently has a bug where if it hits a bad e-mail address on the list, it frys and starts over mailing. That's why some of us have been getting multiple messages. We're waiting for our tech support people to get into the office, then it will be killed. Between now and then, you will likely get a couple more messages. Again, our apologies! Believe me, as much mail as you're getting, we're being flooded with just as much. ;)

UPDATE 2!!! - The Sendmail program has been killed. People should not be receiving any more of the "First Note" mailing list e-mails, although it might take a little time for some of the messages to cycle through and die out. You might get a couple more. We're really, really sorry about this. We'll be fixing the problem right away, and I guarantee we'll make it up to you.
