This time around we took suggestions for Episode 2 Anakin actors directly from the Jedi Council Forums. So if you don't like these, don't complain to us. :) Frankly, I think some of these don't fit the profile below, but we're including them anyway. This selection is unique in that we've seen what the character looks like as a young boy and as an old man. Whoever would play a 20 to 30 year old Anakin must fit in well with them. The actor must also look the right age to be married to a twenty-something Natalie Portman while still being younger looking than Ewan McGregor. Since the actor playing Anakin in Episode 2 will probably also be in Episode 3, he must be able to look both a young twenty year old and a late-twenty year old. Many people think that the actor must be a tall, muscular dude since Darth Vader was, but that's not necessarily the case. Vader was mostly machine, so his arms and legs aren't necessarily the same proportion they were before he became the Dark Lord of the Sith. (Besides, Luke and Leia were both fairly small people, so their dad wasn't exactly Andre the Giant.) Finally, we're going to need a very good actor. Episode 3 is going to have some very heavy drama, so we need someone who can pull it off. So, even though the actor will most likely be an unknown, we'd like to know who among known actors you think would make a good Anakin.
