After a year's hiatus, Star Pets is back! Tom Zerkowski gives us more...

The idea of the site is to have Star Wars fans dress up their pets like Star Wars characters, and then we'll post the pictures on our website; we have about 7 different animals on the site now (come look :-). The picture of the Darth Maul dog was taken at the time of Episode 1, and we had actually given a copy of the photo to Ray Park at a convention - he loved it! Star Pets is a unique, humorous, and all around fun homage to our favorite series of movies. Here you will find pictures of lovable pets dressed like various Star Wars characters, and we encourage you, the fans (and your pets, of course) to join us in reveling in the wonder and fun that was created "a long tail ago in a furry galaxy far, far away." Star Pets is looking for pictures of pets (dogs, cats, etc.) dressed up like Star wars characters, from the most popular to the most obscure, for use on our website. We are looking for Princess Leia Poodles, Jabba the Hutt Iguanas, Storm Trooper Pigeons, Bo'mar Monk Tarantulas - you name it! Be creative! Take a look at your pet, and envision which character your pet most resembles, and then photograph them carefully and accordingly, email it to us, and we'll post it!
