There have been several Star Wars Day's at the Post Office's around Texas in the past month to commemorate the release of the Star Wars Postage Stamps.
These events culminated today in Granbury Texas with the town proclamation of Peter Mayhew Day and a Commemorative Cancellation Stamp with Peter's image on it. The artwork for the Peter Mayhew Day cancellation was provided by Peter and Angie's daughter, Katy De Hay. Several members of the 501st Stormtroopers turned out to troop for the gaggle of kids who turned up to have their photos made with their favorite Wookiee.
