New Jedi Order Legacy Of The Force Current Results Star Wars Fan Awards At ICON-27 Posted By Mike on April 21, 2008 Sure to be the most fun you will ever have at an awards show, the Star Wars Fan Awards is an entertaining and hilarious celebration of fandom in the form of on-stage and video presentations of comedy, music, films, and more. And yes, there will be awards, took forward to a wide range of serious and silly categories. Special guests include standup comedian and impersonator Dennis Carter, Jr as well as AeroSith, the Star Wars Parody Band. Hosted by renowned Long Island DJ Ken Deep, the show will be held at I-CON 27 on Saturday at 5 PM in Javits 101. Please vote for the awards here! Thanks "prncessleiao"! "2008 STAR WARS FAN AWARDS RESULTS - April 5, 2008 The Long Island Fan Force club Docking Bay 516 put on a successful Awards show at StoneyBrook NY's I-CON Convention this past weekend. Ray Park and Daniel Logan were on hand to recieve awards. Dennis Carter Jr performed his standup act "Star Wars Characters road Trip" and AeroSith: The Star Wars Parody band provided live-on-stage entertainment. It was a fun celebration of Star Wars Fandom. 1. Best Northeast Fan Club submitted Star Wars Costume was Virginia Kid Leia (not present to accept) 2. Favorite Star Wars-themed dessert – Han Shot First Cake - Pittsburgh (accepted award in person) 3. Best Northeast Fan Force Club website – Washington DC Galactic Senate (accepted award in person) 4. Favorite horned Star Wars character – Darth Maul (accepted award the next day) 5. Best The Force.net banner in the northeast – Long Island Docking Bay 516 (accepted award in person) 6.
