The Jedi Master from Bortras named Jorus C'baoth was one of the most outstanding figures of the pre-Clone Wars period. According to the Essential Guide to Characters Master C'baoth's resume' includes: being "part of the demilitarization observation group on Ando, serving as a member of the Senate Interspecies Advisory Committee, and even acting as an advisor to the ambitious young Senator Palpatine. C'baoth also joined the Jedi task force that assembled to oppose the Dark Jedi insurrection on Bpfassh. He was part of the delegation to Alderaan when problems with selecting a new viceroy cropped up". The character guide goes on to mention that C'baoth "helped the Jedi Master Tra's Min's mediate the Gotal-Duinuogwuin conflict and served as ambassador-at-large to the Xappyh sector".
Jorus C'baoth was killed when the "Outbound Flight Project", a quest by six prominent Jedi Masters to the outer reachs of the galaxy, was destroyed by the agents of then-Senator Palpatine.
