228 | "The Brotherhood of the Sith could have ruled the galaxy, could have squashed the doddering Republic and turned the other Jedi Knights into parlour magicians --- but I was betrayed." |
Nostalgic history of the Sith during according to Exar Kun. |
270 | Wedge looked out at the starfield where the brilliant sun of the Ithorian system gleamed a whitish blue. |
R.Dalton points out: A blue-white star suggests an O or B spectral class, and thus is relatively short lived. This would not allow enough time to let [higher] life evolve on the planet. Perhaps Ithor was a terraformed planet? I believe it has been shown that Ithorians were masters at botany, so maybe this is the case....If Ithor truly is a terraformed colony world, then the local animal species are not native and they need not share any of the characteristics of the Ithorian sapients. This would allow an easy resolution of the contradictory labelling of "Meerian Hammerheads" in the ANH Radio Play: the Meerians might be from the ancestral homeworld, or another colony like Ithor. |
295 | Silvery planetshine trickled through the dense leaves, lighting the clearing with a wan, milky glow. |
Planetshine felt at the surface of Endor's moon tends to imply that
the gas-giant has somehow been restored.
This is very peculiar since it was knwon to be long since vanished at the time
of Return of the Jedi
